ESA astronaut Thomas Reiter, Expedition 13 Flight Engineer 2, handles the infrared camera during an Extra-vehicular Activity from the International Space Station on 3 August 2006. The infrared camera is was to photograph a set of reinforced carbon carbon (RCC) samples for possible detection of damage caused by variations in temperature between sound and damaged RCC test sections.
