    • Description

ESA’s Swarm mission is dedicated to identifying and measuring precisely the different magnetic signals that make up Earth’s magnetic field. The three identical Swarm satellites are launched together on a Rockot launcher from Plesetsk in northern Russia. After the fairing has been jettisoned, the rocket’s third stage is released leaving the Breeze-KM upper stage and three Swarm satellites. This happens 135 seconds after the fairing has been jettisoned, or 305 seconds after liftoff.
