    • Description

The European Space Agency has now a flotilla of satellites observing the Earth, providing data on key fields to understand our planet's behaviour.

The scientific results of ESA's Earth Observation satellites are regularly presented in a scientific conference now named the Living Planet Symposium. This meeting is being held in Bergen, Norway between 28 June & 2nd July.

Attracting over a thousand scientists, the Symposium will be presenting the status and initial results of the agency's first three Earth Explorer missions. These new satellites will provide key contributions to better understand the natural and man-induced global change as well as phenomena responsible for Earths changing climate.
