Update Mars500 end of first part B-Roll
with images inside the habitation module
      Format 16:9
ESA's Directorate of Human Spaceflight is undertaking a cooperative project with the Russian Institute for Biomedical Problems in Moscow called the Mars500 programme. The ultimate goal of the study is to ensure that astronauts are prepared mentally and physically for a long-duration mission to Mars. To this purpose a six-man crew has been sealed in an isolation chamber for an initial 105-day study; among them are ESA-selected candidates Oliver Knickel and Cyrille Fournier. Upon completion, another study of 520 days will be carried out. This video provides images of the module, crew and support team, as well as interviews with ESA Operations Support Team members.
