This week marks first anniversary of the European laboratory Columbus being docked to the International Space Station. With Columbus ESA is now a fully fledged partner in the ISS and reinforce its role in human spaceflight and exploration . This B roll recalls this achievement with images of the launch, the docking and the activities aboard Columbus with some of its experiments. It also includes interviews of Simonetta Di Pippo, Director of Human Spaceflight in ESA and Leopold Eyharts, the ESA astronaut who started the operations of Columbus attached to ISS.
