Mars Express goes underground A-roll. The MARSIS instrument onboard ESA's Mars Express looks under the surface of Mars to answer the question - where did the water go? Scientists think MARSIS can tell us. Produced to coincide with a major paper on first results from the MARSIS instrument on ESA's Mars Express, by Professor Giovanni Picardi and his team, published in Science magazine in 2005. This A-roll from 2005 contains interviews with MARSIS Investigators Roberto Seu (Univ. Rome La Sapienza), Jeffrey Plant (NASA/JPL), Roberto Orosei (INAF, Rome) as well as ESA's Marcello Coradini. Interviews are in English. The supporting B-rolll also contains interviews in Italian and French.
